No job is more vital to our society than that of the manager. It is the manager who determines whether our social institutions serve us well or whether they squander our talents and resources.
Henry Mintzberg (Cleghorn Professor of Management Studies at the Desautels Faculty of Management of McGill University)The engineer has been, and is, a maker of history
James Kip Finch
Difference between consulting and coaching
The traditional consulting approach is to diagnose problems and prescribe and, sometimes, implement solutions. With coaching, the assumption is that individuals or teams are capable of generating their own solutions, with the coach supplying supportive, discovery-based approaches and frameworks.
The most powerful approach is to combine consulting and coaching. First we work closely with the client to identify what needs to be improved or changed and we help him make a plan with clear objectives and then support him in the implementation process. the final step is to bring in coaching to ensure the changes will be fully implemented and integrated.

Whos is Pierre?
I am a certifed coach and consultant with almost two decades of experience as a front line manager and engineer in Telecommunications. I also have five years of experience in civil engineering. During the course of my career, I was priviledged to hold close to twenty different positions in several areas of technology. I was also blessed to work in many different locations all over Canada and in the US. Those diversified experiences enabled me to understand and master the principles of management and leadership.
I like to work with well established managers and engineers who want to increase their impact on their team and take their game to the next level. I also like to help new leaders, whether they are engineers, technicians or employees who recently transitioned to a position of leadership and aspiring leaders who want to take the big leap. Becoming a manager is a very challenging and transforming experience which is sometimes compared to parenthood (Becoming a Manager Linda Hill).
How I work with clients:
Real change takes a lot of time and effort. We can design together a package that meet your requirements.

The ultimate leaders in the middle of the military-the Sergeants: the months in the desert had reinforced my longstanding conviction that sergeants really were the backbone of the army.
Tommy Franks (US General)
I also stongly believe frontline managers are the backbone of companies!
Front-line managers make up roughly 60% of a company’s management ranks. They directly supervise around 80% of the total workforce
